Erica Michelle

Today’s guest experienced a stillbirth at 27 and lost her son in labor.  She went on to experience postpartum depression, but was determined to have another baby and continue her motherhood journey.  Marjorie Vail became pregnant 2 years after her stillbirth with her rainbow baby and later found out he was on the autism spectrum.

In today’s episode, Marjorie shares her journey to motherhood, her stillbirth experience and postpartum depression and grief journey, and how not only advocating for her rainbow babies autism diagnosis led her to advocate for maternal health.  We discuss her advocacy work as the co-director of awareness for PUSH for pregnancy ensuring the voices of BIPOC familes are heard.
