142 – Overcoming Endometriosis and PCOS by Keeping the Faith with Chanelle McElroy

With COVID-19 Cornavirus taking up our news feed, we are all searching for a hope, faith, and joy. Today’s episode gives us just that faith beyond the cycle.

Chanelle McElroy’s faith is shown after being diagnosed with endometriosis and PCOs in early 2017. She experienced 3 miscarriages, and was told that it would be difficult to conceive. Chanelle remained faithful and begin sharing her experiences through writing a journal. She became pregnant in October 2018 and gave birth to a preemie at 23 weeks and 5 days. This episode is for you to listen to if you have had recurrent miscarriages due to endometriosis or PCOS and how to keep the faith beyond the cycle.

Chanelle McElroy’s Bio
Chanelle M. McElroy born and raised in Columbus, Ohio. After graduating from high school, she has pursue her career in nursing with a passion to help others. Chanelle married her husband in April of 2016, shortly after they began the process to relocate to Rio Rancho, New Mexico for her husband work. During the move they experienced their first miscarriage, which led Chanelle to feel depressed and anxious about the ability to have children. Chanelle was diagnosed in early 2017 with PCOS and endometriosis. She and her husband continued to try for a child after being told that it was not impossible but would be difficult for conception. In May of 2018 they had their second miscarriage which saw a trip to the emergency room. In June Chanelle went through a serious fight with depression which brought her to thoughts of suicide while sitting alone in her home. She and her husband prayed fervently for the Lord to intervene and work on their behalf, after this prayer Chanelle heard the Lord speak to her. Guiding her to write a devotional and he would touch her womb, Chanelle experienced yet another miscarriage in August. She remained faithful to what the Lord asked of her and began to write a devotional in October she conceived and the pregnancy was viable and the baby began to grow. Loryn Monique was born at 23 weeks 5 days; 16 weeks and 2 days early. After spending 127 days in 2 different NICU’s Loryn was able to come home to be with her parents. Chanelle has a passion to uplift, inspire, and encourage other women through their PCOS, and infertility journeys. She has made it her mission to tell all that will listen about the importance of having faith, trusting, and believing in God to withstand any obstacle.
