Tell me about your journey to motherhood? What obstacles have you overcome?
My journey to motherhood shocked me. My fiancé asked me to marry him on the 23rd of December and of course I said yes! Six days later i asked him to bring a pregnancy test home because I could not figure out why I was so tired. I took the test in it came back positive not once but three times in less than an hour. I cried because it was only the beginning of second semester of grad school and I was thinking about a wedding not a baby! That following day I called my doctor to confirm I was pregnant but I did not want to pay if it was not true so I bought another pregnancy test on the first of January on the 8th the doctor confirmed that I was 9 weeks pregnant, I cried because I actually had a whole baby ( I could see legs, arms and an eye). We cried and that started my journey to motherhood.
