Have you heard of PPROM? Preterm premature rupture of the membranes (PPROM) is a pregnancy complication. In this condition, the sac (amniotic membrane) surrounding your baby breaks (ruptures) before week 37 of pregnancy. Once the sac breaks, you have an increased risk for infection. Stacy Patterson’s Bio
I am Stacy Patterson from Dallas, Tx. I’m 35 years old & married to my husband Edward of 5 years. We have 2 beautiful daughters, Tania age 12 & McKenzie age 6.
Tell me about your journey to motherhood? What obstacles have you overcome?I became a mother for the first time at the age of 23 with my oldest daughter who was born premature at 32 weeks gestation. She spent 3 weeks in the NICU until coming home at a little over 5lbs. My 2nd daughter McKenzie was born 6 years later. Very textbook pregnancy. No incidents. We had recently been trying for a boy last year & we found out we were expecting November 2018. Unfortunately due to PPROM & IC we lost our son Emery on March 25, 2019. Recently I’ve had to overcome this loss on top of maternal provoked blood clots & other health problems. Fear of this happening again as we expand our family.
