88 – Shannon Duke’s Grief from Losing her Mom & Recurrent Miscarriages

Erica Michelle

March is Pregnancy After Loss Awareness month. This month we are discussing Pregnancy After Loss, but also loss of jobs, marriages, and family members as you grieve the loss of your angel. In today’s episode we have Shannon Duke. In June 2012 she had her first miscarriage. Shannon endured 3 more losses (Dec.2012, March 2014, July 2014), before she had Mackenzie at 21 weeks in March 2016. Shannon had to deliver her early due to severe pre-eclampsia. She then went on to have another miscarriage in Dec.2016, I lost my mother in June 2017, and suffered another miscarriage in Sept 2017. All of her losses except Mackenzie were missed miscarriages. She didn’t make it pass 8 or 9 weeks. Shannon then went on to have her rainbow baby her miracle named Gracyn was born on July 15,2018. Shannon has a story to tell and I’m excited to share her story with you.
