March is Pregnancy After Loss Awareness month. This month we are discussing Pregnancy After Loss, but also loss of jobs, marriages, and family members as you grieve the loss of your angel.
In today’s episode we have Keleah Brown who shares grief from losing a job and one twin during pregnancy. Keleah experienced two miscarriages; one before her current pregnancy and she lost a twin during this pregnancy. She has dealt with the stress of trying to conceive, being a mother and while pregnant, losing her job, miscarrying, homeschooling, high risk pregnancy, all while moving to a new state. All of Keleah’s experiences lead her to write her debut poetry collection titled “Carried: MOTHERHOOD | miscarriage.” Keleah shares in this episode how she has managed her grief through all of the trauma she has experienced and shared in this episode how it feels to carry one twin while grieving the loss of the other one. This episode is for you to listen to if you have experienced grief from lost of a job or a twin in pregnancy.
Keleah’s Bio
I am a christian, imperfect mother, maturing wife, and North Carolina native; I currently live in Texas. I am also a self-published author, Social Work graduate, and am currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Information Systems. I am a mom of a home schooled 4-year-old, and I am pregnant currently. I have experienced two miscarriages; one before my current pregnancy and I lost a twin during this pregnancy. I am familiar with trying to conceive, dealing with stress as a mother and while pregnant (losing my job, miscarrying, homeschooling, high risk pregnancy, and moving to a new state), and having my first child while in college. My experiences lead me to write my debut poetry collection titled “Carried: MOTHERHOOD | miscarriage” ( http://a.co/d/3fNDfbC ).
